Kim's practice focuses on Medicaid planning, elder law, estate planning, and special needs planning. She has extensive experience working with elder law and estate planning clients during her legal career, acting as primary estate planning paralegal at Cressman Erde Ferguson prior to joining as an attorney in 2020. She brings a thoughtful and sophisticated approach to complicated issues for many families.

Kim is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys (PAELA) and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). She is a frequent presenter of continuing legal education programs to other attorneys, including: How Trusts Affect Medicaid Eligibility (NBI 2021) and Estate and Trust Administration (NBI 2021).

Unique to Kim's practice is her approach to Medicaid planning, where she clearly identifies the client's goals, then structures a plan that achieves the client's articulated goals, start to finish. That plan is then reviewed with the client and family, and upon client approval, action is taken. Throughout the process, she acts as a responsive and personable point of contact for her clients, creating accountability amid the natural complexity of Long-Term Care planning.

Kim is a lifelong Crawford County resident who graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School. Kim has worked at Cressman Erde Ferguson since 2014 and attended law school during that time, graduating from the first ABA-approved hybrid in-person and online law school. During her time in law school, Kim successfully won her class moot court competition and completed specialized study in the area of special needs planning.

When not practicing law, Kim lives in Conneautville with her husband, Paul, and the dogs they take pride in rescuing from local animal shelters. She is a 2020-21 participant in the Leadership Meadville program sponsored by the Meadville-Western Crawford County Chamber of Commerce. She is a board member for Junior Achievement of Crawford County.
